I’ve watched Halloween in theatres. I suspect 4 would play a lot better. There’s more happening. If you could get a nice crowd it should be a fun time. The first is the one you sit silently through. The fourth is the one you sit through with the audience from the Stab premiere at the beginning of Scream 2.

At this rate all of them... but definitely Halloween and Season of the Witch. I meant horror movies in general. Which ones would you watch? You could include family titles too, like Beetlejuice and Addams Family. I watched Hocus Pocus back in 2018. Audio mix wasn’t great though. I’ve also watched Nightmare on Elm Street which looked & sounded a lot better than I expected for a lower budgeted movie from 1984. I’d love to see Dream Warriors on the big screen. If they could remaster Evil Dead II, like they did with last year’s Evil Dead remastering, that’d be pretty sweet. But you know which movie would kick ass on the big screen? Francis Coppola’s Dracula . My body is ready. Oh, my God, in that case, there'd be a ton. I would love to see some of the Universal Monster stuff, pretty much any of them. Like a marathon would be great. A lot of them have short run times too, so you could squeeze a couple in. The Innocents, Scream 1 or 2, The Thing, Texas Chainsaw, Ernest Scared Stupid, The Blob, The Halloween Tree, Monster Squad, Nightmare on Elm series. There are tons. I've been fortunate to see some of the classics, like Halloween, The Shining, Alien, Psycho and a couple others in theaters.

Movie series I'd consider seeing all on big screen: Child's Play (Chucky is my homie), Nightmare on Elm Street (killer effects), Universal Monsters/Dark Universe (have seen Frankenstein and Bride, would see again), Evil Dead (who wouldn't?), Toho (natch).
Halloween movies I'd see: 1, 4, 6, 7. Have seen the Zombie movies and 2018, wouldn't pay to see any of them again.
Friday the 13th movies I'd see: Jason X in IMAX. I feel I owe it to this movie to see it on the biggest screen possible so I can soak in how fucking cheap it is. I'd see Freddy vs. Jason again, the rest I don't care about.
Texas Chainsaw movies I'd see: 1, 2, remake. I've seen Beginning and 3D in a theater. Wouldn't pay to see again.

Doomsday Dracula PhantomKnightRegal’s gone. Hollywood has abandoned us. But kudos to Netflix & Apple for at least entertaining the notion of a theatrical release. We’re playing these movies this weekend: Let’s see how it goes. At least these are “real movies” as PG Cooper would say. At this point it’s either those or The War With Grandpa. I know which one 1godzillafan will choose.

I will watch The War with Grandpa a thousand times before I give Netflix more money.

It's on Netflix on October 16 but we’re playing it this weekend in theatres. Check your local showtimes.

To be fair, other than Tenet and, to a much lesser extent, Unhinged, I've practically had theaters all to myself every time I've gone.

I've already seen that trailer like 500 times because Regal was limited on what movies to advertise.

I do my "That's Not Cinema" Awards and that's good enough for me. But if I did Golden Stake, Bill & Ted and Ouija Shark would sweep and Tenet would get nothing.
