Alright I gauged interest about this, then I kind of got distracted by other things, but I think it's time to make this happen: an extension of the CS Top Ten threads I do every year but for the 2010s decade and expanded to a top 25. We did do this ten years ago for the 2000s and did manage to get a pretty interesting list constructed which you can find, about half way into this massive archive thread if you want. So as with the other threads just post your ranked top twenty five films of the decade and I'll splice them together. Ballot Rules: No Ties I want a list only, if you want to add commentary, go ahead, but keep it separate from the list. You MUST rank the list Put #1 at the top and #25 at the bottom, don't count down Edits are allowed but discouraged, if you do edit, preserve the original list and alert me to the change. PG Cooper , not sure if you'll still be in the process of revealing your list by the deadline, so if you want to submit your ballot by PM instead of posting it that's fine, and I'll extend that courtesy to anyone else doing something similar. Eligibility Rules: The film needs to have been released between 1/1/2010 and 12/31/2019. I'll allow some leeway for foreign releases from 2009 that didn't make it here until 2010, but that's going to be kind of case-by-case. For the 2000s list we lumped the LOTR movies and the Kill Bill movies into one slot each. Not sure if there was anything this decade that would be appropriate for that has much of a chance of getting votes, if you know of one let me know and I'll think about it. All entries must be of feature length films that received some sort of theatrical release, let me know if something's borderline and I'll take it under consideration. And no, Twin Peaks: The Return is not a movie, don't go there. If in doubt about eligibility, ask. I want to get as much turnout as possible but I also don't want this to drag on forever and having the 2019 list open for a month didn't quite give me the turnout push I was hoping for so let's say... three weeks, yeah that sounds good: Please have your ballot in by 3/27/2020

Here goes nothing..
1. Dunkirk 2. Phantom Thread 3. The Master 4. Blade Runner 2049 5. The Irishman 6. Burning 7. Ex Machina 8. The Lighthouse 9. Inside Llewyn Davis 10. The Grand Budapest Hotel 11. Mission Impossible: Fallout 12. The Lost City of Z 13. John Wick 14. Uncut Gems 15. Inception 16. Portrait of a Lady on Fire 17. Parasite 18. La La Land 19. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 20. Brooklyn 21. The Revenant 22. Midnight in Paris 23. Leave No Trace 24. Café Society 25. Personal Shopper
I feel like I have a good grasp on what was released more towards the back half of the decade then I do the first, and obviously this list reflects that, with 2017-2019 showing up a lot. There is definitely some recency bias going on here. So I certainly need to take a deeper dive in years 2010-2013.
I'm sure depending on the day or my mood, this list could look slightly different, but a lot of these choices are based off the emotion/feelings that have stuck with me from the first viewing.

Haha, I was honestly thinking the same thing as I was putting it together. I think I may be one of the few who loves Cafe Society, so that was already on there. I felt the need to have something from 2011 be represented, and Midnight stuck with me the most.
Really enjoying both yours and Drac's list in the other thread. I've watched a lot of shit from both lists that I otherwise forgot or haddn't heard about. Looking forward to the rest.

Favorite movie of the decade is Inside Out.
I have neither the strength nor the desire to go beyond that, so do with that as you wish.

Made a couple changes/alterations since I originally posted it. For instance, added Parasite, Three Billboards and Take Shelter (at the cost of First Man, Zero Dark Thirty and Silver Linings Playbook). But, more importantly for you, Dracula, for the ties I had, I just picked my favorite film in each instance, i.e. Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
1. Inception 2. The Social Network 3. Birdman
4. Her
5. Eighth Grade
6. Logan
7. Black Swan
8. Sicario
9. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 10. Mad Max: Fury Road 11. Silence
12. Short Term 12
13. Prisoners
14. Hereditary
15. Get Out
16. The Hateful Eight
17. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri
18. Parasite
19. Arrival
20. The Revenant
21. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
22. Take Shelter
23. Before Midnight
24. Cloud Atlas
25. The Descendants

Oh thanks for the tag! I will get right on this.
I was thinking of doing a post one a day for 100 days on twitter thing like I did with my top 100 movies, but not sure yet.
I will put the 25 up here right away though.
