Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Was it just an edited shot from The Winter Soldier? If they just used the CGI files from the movie they'd have to re render the lighting and stuff.

I really enjoyed this season.  The various storylines came together well.  While I was initially concerned about the plot involving the LMD Eva, in the end it was everything that Avengers: Age of Ultron utterly failed to deliver on in the crazy killer robot genre.

Season Five has already been given the go ahead, and it looks as though the team may be moving to a different branch of the covert services- S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation & Response Department), which deals with outer space based threats against Earth.  Since the upcoming Inhumans series does involve the moon based colony of Inhumans, the team's relocation to space is likely tied to this series in some manner.  

It's going to be a long wait for season five.  It won't air until The Inhumans has finished it's eight episode run.  Either late November or early December.  

There's currently a lot of speculation that season five will be the final season, not because of ratings, but because it's expected that Avengers: Infinity War part II (or whatever it's ultimate title is) will end with reality altering events that result in a soft reboot of the MCU.

I caught it.  Meant to do a post about it, but forgot to do so.  I suspect the producers would have liked to include more, but the network wouldn't allow it.  I'm fairly certain that the What If? storyline was planned out long before the election results came in, though.

Could've sworn we already knew this.

Guess what else is still on: The Blacklist!  Season 7 as well.

The Final Season is currently airing, and it's a fun ride.  That said however, last night's episode was very shocking.  Every episode this season is an homage to a different genre of entertainment, from a goofy 50's Sci-Fi style story to a 70's Starsky & Hutch type story.  Last night was 80's slasher movie, specifically Chopping Mall (1986).  It was the bloodiest episode of a network television show I've ever seen.  

I personally don't have a problem with it, but Agents of SHIELD has always been a family show.  Things get dark and dramatic, but the violence has always been the typically bloodless sort.  Sometimes there's a trickle of blood running down someone's nose, or from a small cut on their forehead.  This one required several gallons of blood.
