Once again, the movies lead to a major shake-up for Agents of SHIELD.
The opening scenes of Age of Ultron have more or less put an end to Hydra as a credible threat for a while. The only two major leaders they had left were List and Strucker, both of which were taken down. Strucker is dead, List is in custody and Hydra's A-team are all toast. By the end, Nick Fury is back from the dead in a public way, and he's brought his Helicarrier with him. SHIELD is shown as a force for good by evacuating the refugees of Sekovia.
It will be fun to see what this does to the show. |

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter have been renewed. The spin-off series featuring Mockingbird that was in the works has been shelved according to Deadline. link |

The Mockingbird spin-off that was reportedly shelved has been taken off the shelf and given a series order. I can't imagine why, though.

Wait. The Inhumans were introduced on this show? Yes, The Inhumans figured prominently in season two, and are likely to be even more so in season three. The Inhumans replaced Hydra as one of the main threats SHIELD was dealing with after the fall of Hydra in Age of Ultron. |

Damn this show got good. Like, really good. It might be my favorite show on the air right now, which is crazy considering how bad it was at the start.

It really has seen a marked improvement. I definitely did not see Lash's true identity coming. The merging of the Hydra storyline with the Inhumans storyline was a good move on their part. I just hope that the SHIELD team is going to finally get some people other than Daisy with powers on a regular basis. |

ABC has once again changed their minds regarding the Mockingbird/Hunter spin-off series Most Wanted and is again saying that they've decided not to pick the show up. Agent Carter isn't getting a season three, which seems like a decision that will probably stick since their star has moved on to another series. Agents of SHIELD is still reportedly moving forward to season four.

That Is so stupid its clear that Agent Carter Has been the superior show the Last 2 Seasons. After this years mess it boggles the mind they being Agents Of Shield. This show had no change when Ward became Hive and the even worse attempt too make Skye a villain character quick story telling.

Makes me wonder if they'll bring those two back into Agents now. Yeah, they shouldn't have written themselves into a corner the way they did with Bobbi and Hunter. I can take or leave Hunter, but I really liked Bobbi. Her last episode was the last episode of the show I watched, now that I think about it. Bobbi was the only member of the team who is a long established superhero from the comics, too. |

It's to go with the revamp they did of the Ghost Rider comic, that was really good. Also they want to steer clear of the Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider as much as they can. Hopefully if this is done right they'll bring back Johny Blaze and the original to tell more about who and what the Spirits of Vengeance are.
