Yeah, I'm really not interested in reading Chris Nolan hate pieces. People can go ahead and not like him all they want, he's still one of the most ambitious filmmakers working within the Hollywood system and he continues to put forth strong films. We need more directors like Nolan.

The link Batman posted looks interesting, but I'm sort of afraid to read it before I see Interstellar.

Faraci is just hitting the same notes over and over again. That piece could've been a paragraph long, if that.

He saying the he was miss quoted anyway.
Besides I doubt he cares about the DC/Marvel rivalry. He stated before that he likes his film to be able to stand alone, so I could see why he wouldn't like using a post credit scene. Plus why would you put one in a movie that you don't know where the narrative is going yet?

This is what a 70MM IMAX Copy of Interstellar looks like.

I dont know, and I'm upset. Oh well, at least I will see in AVX on Saturday. The Imax people told me they may get it January during the second run.

Yeah, that's pretty stupid that an IMAX wouldn't get a movie as big as this.
Anyway, I'm planning on going to either the 10:45 a.m. or the 2:30 p.m. IMAX showing on Saturday. Can't wait!

The closest Imax to me is 2 1/2 hours away, and it is in a science center, not a movie theater. It is usually limited to educational Imax films. BUT it is a true Imax film projector, so when they do play Imax movies its worth it.

Well that explains it. The two (three) 'real' IMAX theaters in the state of Ohio won't be getting it either (they are all museum IMAX theaters). All the digital IMAX theaters are getting it, though.

Well, two years ago they got a print of Dark Knight Rises. It was a special run which they got because they are true film Imax and because Nolan is such a proponent of Imax. So I sort of figured it would be the same kind of deal here. Oh well.

I can already tell what is now going to happen with Interstellar. There is going to be a lot of Nolan backlash, claiming that anyone who likes the movie is blindly loving it because its Nolan. ON the other hand, Nolan fans are going to declare that the critics are only trying to bring down his work because of the backlash.

And meanwhile, the 90% moderate group who stay off the internet superhighway will remain silent. Isn't the information age grand?
