Looks like he made one throwaway comment whilst promoting his new film and that got made into click bait. Your usual journalistic bullshit.
And doesn't he have a point? People on here have definitely complained in the past about how certain films have been darkened up due to the Nolan effect.
I doubt Nolan will be losing any sleep over it. Nolan himself has probably had enough, hence why he stopped making them.
That said, Vaughan did allegedly bang January Jones when married to Claudia Schiffer, so maybe he's just a grade-A ****. We may never know.

Bad news for Chris Nolan fans. Matthew Vaughn's The Kingsman has 100% at Rotten Tomatoes. www.rottentomatoes.com/mobile/m/kingsman_the_secret_service/I'm sure it'll go down. This is not the type of movie that gets more than 90% at RT. The snobby/comedy hating critics will give it a thumbs down. "Kick-Ass" was good, I enjoyed it, and Nicolas Cage was by far the best part. I don't think the guy's a bad director whatsoever, the two movies I've seen I really enjoyed. But I'm not interested in this new one, I scoffed at the trailers and I will continue to stubbornly scoff. An adult Agent Cody Banks, ooooh, so interesting.
