It's being sold from Phoenix, AZ. This is not a prime place to keep film reels. Film stock like that needs to be stored in a cool, dry environment. I suspect this was stuck in someone's attic for the past half century or so. It's probably unwatchable. Interesting item, though.

Doomsday PhantomKnightYou know those cable-company salesmen that are always lurking around Best Buy? I always see them a mile away and tell them “Sorry. Not interested.” before they even approach me. Well, today, one of them gave me shit for not indulging them. I get you’re trying to earn commission (or whatever) but who the fuck goes to Best Buy to sign up for cable? Why are you even there? And secondly, if you have to be there (for whatever reason) why not just set up a station, like the cellphone people do, and let me approach you. Don’t lurk around the store like a fucking asshole. But anyway, Dracula, Best Buy is selling a 65-inch Samsung 4K TV for $600. What’s your thoughts/expertise on it? Shit? Worth it? Potential Black Friday scam?

I always love those conversations. How'd it go down?
Last time I was in the Verizon store to get a new iPhone one of the salesman tried to pitch a landline package to me. Seriously, how many people do you think bite on that every month?

I'm the wrong person to ask. Anything cheaper than $2000 is probably going to be below my standards (OLED or bust), but normal people will likely see things differently.

I've actually never run into any cable reps at a Best Buy before. I didn't even know that was a thing. Even so, no salesperson has any business giving customers grief just because they're not interested in what they're pushing. In the case of a store like Best Buy especially, most of the people who walk through their doors already know what they're looking for. While I can understand the desperation of cable company reps in the age of cutting the chord, that's no excuse. They need to get a job in an industry that isn't dying.
I did have a sales rep at a Radio Shack seem particularly outraged at me for having the audacity to not only be one of the few people who didn't own a cell phone, but not want to buy one from him. I wasn't even in the store. I was just walking by the store at the mall. He asked me what I was going to do if my car broke down, as though everyone whose car broke down before the advent of cell phones died on the side of the road or something.

I've actually never run into any cable reps at a Best Buy before. They’re at Walmart sometimes too, but they’re always at Best Buy. It’s annoying. I hate that shit too. If I want to go to your store, I’d be at your store.

I'd love to be harassed at a mall. Sexually.
We call them 'shopping centres' over here, where words mean things.

I bought a Samsung 65RU7100 on sale for $600 last month from Best Buy (after using the $350 credit I had for my 50" going out under the 5 year warranty, it was $250), but also paid for another 5 year warranty, wall mount, and mounting service, so everything came out to about a grand, before applying the credit from my warranty for the last TV. I freaking love this television in every way a man can love a TV.

Jennifer Garner working at Costco I wonder if she goes by a different alias. I see what you did there, and no. It's a publicity stunt for the smoothie company, which she is a part owner of. The only place it's available is Costco stores in LA and San Francisco at the moment.

I went to Vons a while back and the guy who played the Soup Nazi was there with a little soup setup. The soup itself was gross and to top it off I wasn't sure if it was cool to see or if it was kinda sad that he was still hocking soup twenty years after the episode aired.
