I always have mixed feelings about the time changing. On one hand, with Christmas around the corner, its nice to see all the houses lit up. On the other hand, it's already night time by 6pm. Seriously. It's only like 5:30 on the East Coast and the sun is pretty much gone already.

Actually congress said we would use less power if we enacted daylight saving, so we did it in ww1 and ww2 to 'ration' energy. But in the modern world we really just use a whole lot more.
Blame patriotism... again.

So this Saturday I'm going to be taking part in the Extra Life Game Day charity drive. I'll be playing quite a lot of multiplayer games on my PS4 while I raise funds. I already made my goal, but if any of you see me online playing...feel free to join the fun.

Moving is the opposite of fun. Don't get me wrong, I'm bouncing off the walls excited to be in the new house but I am ready for all of my stuff to be here. I've got movers on the way to bring furniture, then I just have to fetch the kitties from the townhouse and maybe one last car load of stuff.
It's too bad my brother's hot tub is broken. A soak in some near boiling water sounds good right about now. I've stopped moving so my muscles are starting to ache.

I just replaced a taillight on my car all by myself. This is reportedly one of the easiest DIY car fixes you can do, I was completely reliant on Youtube tutorials, and I might have broken a small and probably unimportant piece... but none of that will stop me from swaggering like the cockiest fucking alpha-male all day.

My friends tell me I need to stop watching James Bond movies. Yesterday, after leaving Spectre, I needed to get to the gas station but was stuck in that Friday night mall traffic. So I drove through the sidewalk/grass area to get to the gas station. I was even honking at people to get the fuck out of the way. It was one of my proudest moments. |
