I just heard through the grapevine at work that my new boss is actively trying to get rid of me; either by forcing me to quit, or making my workload so unrealistic, that I won't be able to manage it and fire me.

That's messed up. Is there anyone above him that you might be able to discuss that with? Additionally, are there other coworkers willing to come forward to confirm the rumors?
It's summer and I may be turning my fireplace on for the first time in over 5 years. We have hornets in the fireplace and I want them gone. The problem is that I am terrified of trying to futz with the pilot light and turn the fireplace on, so I have to wait for my brother to come over and do it for me. I am not a brave person. |

Not due to lack of solidarity (well, maybe) but more because they likely don't want to lose their jobs. I doubt this guy feels threatened by anything I do. I was already hunting for a new job, but now I need to step it and find one before I lose this one. |

Yeah, I work at Target. I'm essentially the Maintenance Manager. I make sure every thing in the store is clean and all of the equipment works and what not. This guy isn't even in my work center, per say, as my actual boss is at the district level, but he is essentially my "liaison" at the store level. But I have no doubt that he has the blessing of my actual boss. We've never gotten along.

Well it looks like ill probably skip seeing terminator genesis. Been getting a lot of bad reviews. Wonder what else i should see instead. My last movies i saw were ted 2, inside out, and jurassic world.
