I hate the way a lot of my family made such a big deal about starting a baby registry, and none of them actually want to buy anything off of it. I hear ya! Everyone wants to get you stuff, but it's never the stuff you want or need. My son's shelf is covered in teddy bears. Literally, we received about a dozen of them. If we do it again... Diapers. Just send diapers. |

When my friend had her baby I asked my mom what the most practical gift was. She said diapers and bottles. So I got her a stuffed toy and bottles. My friend was so excited to get the bottles ha.

Prices are about 1.99 here in Tulsa. We're usually a little lower than the rest of the country due to the fact that we have at least two refineries in city itself, not to mention the surrounding areas.

No one wants to gift the practical stuff... its not fun enough. I'm worried about the potential number of loud obnoxious toys that my in-laws will give to Hudson for Christmas. That and everything in blue. Boys get blue and girls get pink in that family. No other options. |

We're not opposed to the color pink, but we are actively encouraging people to pick anther color. Its just really hard to avoid pink for an infant girl. I've seen a lot more color options for boys, not to mention cooler designs (rocketships, dinosaurs, etc.).

I'm going to stop using Rite Aid Pharmacy.
I only picked them because they say they deliver and it is the closest to my apartment.
Well, I found out you have to nudge them to even order a prescription they've been sitting on, and then when you request delivery you have to bug them again to see if your order is even ready.
I have had two prescriptions called in since December 4th and then I called in another Friday the 12th. They said they could deliver by Monday - I had to call them up again today to see what was happening, and they said two of my prescriptions could be delivered today but one of the ones they've been sitting on since the 4th is still not in because of some pricing question.
I'm switching to a service that will not only deliver on a regular basis, but will also bubble pack my pills for each day and evening for the entire month, so all I have to do is break open the right bubble and take the pills.
(Oh, and did I mention that Rite Aid robocalls me to tell me I'm probably out of a prescription and asks if I want to order a refill [that I'll never get anyway])

I have a lighting designer friend who wants to base a show plot around this ridiculous shade of neon stripper pink in the Rosco catalogue. I swear this color does not exist in nature in any form. And he's wants to do it for something like Sam Shepherd or Hamlet.
