Its crazy that a new Pixar movie came out last year, and I just didn't bother seeing it. Nor am I likely to see it an time soon. Two new Pixar movies.

IDK, I'm not going to die on a hill defending Lightyear but I do think it's better than its reputation and probably another victim of the Pixar double standard at least to some extent.

You're probably right to an extent, but the movie still feels beneath their standards. They've certainly done worse, but Lightyear is such a whiff.

Lightyear's good. Certainly not one of their better efforts, but it's a solid little sci-fi action adventure.
And Turning Red was delightful.

Another day another school shooting - young kids who def didn't deserve to die, thoughts prayers nothing of substance etc etc (truly can't imagine being a parent of one of these poor children...)
But this shooter is the first woman that I can remember in... Ever maybe.

It has been a very, very long time folks! I was not sure this place still existed. Yes, it is I...ZombieMan from the early 2000's! The last time I was posting here, my son was 2 years old and is now nearly 20. It is crazy cool to see many familiar names still around these parts. I do have the unfortunate task of informing you CS veterans that while myself and 'Papa' (also formerly PapaRoachRulz) stayed in touch throughout the years, he passed away and left this earth in August of 2021 after a severe reaction to the Covid jab. Before his passing we were actually talking about CS and the great time we had posting on here. He was going to take a trip down south and visit me for the first time in the summer of 2022 but he was gone by then. Total bummer! Anyhow, what are the veterans of CS doing these days? I have lost track of most of you. I am sure everyone's lives are very different by now. As for myself, I took a leap and have been a national journalist for the last seven years or so. I have written for ABC, NBC and now independent outlets. I have also done some background work in film, was a radio DJ for a few years, did stand up comedy, have done some web series work, etc. Ever since my beginning in the professional wrestling business in 2002, I have stayed close to the entertainment business and have met a lot of amazing people (and celebrities). My current occupation allows for me to meet movie stars and interview them quite frequently, so that is right up my alley! In the past year I have sat down with John Goodman, Corey Feldman, Larry the Cable Guy, Barry Williams, etc. I also ramped up my movie collection and have nearly 5,000 titles in my homemade movie store/arcade. You can see a video of my movie store on Tiktok. My username is retrobenji83 on there. I hope everyone is doing really well!

I'm glad he pimped his tik tok. Whats the potential - 6 new followers?
Wouldn't mind checking out these articles though.

Take notice, I rarely use my Tiktok and do not give a sh*t if I gain one follower. It was the only place I had a video stored of my movie room. I see things have not changed much here. Always one jealous arse in the bunch when someone returns to say hello. 🙄

So, over the weekend, I had my first significant brush with a celebrity.
Our family was close with Nick Galifinakis, who was a politician for the longest time here in Durham, NC. He died early last week, and the funeral was this past Saturday morning. And if that last name rings a bell, yes -- Nick was Zach Galifinakis's uncle. And guess who was at the funeral?
So after the ceremony, our family went over to talk a bit with his, and I got introduced to Zach in-person. Shook his hand, traded a few words, etc. I know the circumstances weren't exactly ideal, but still -- I met Zach Galifinakis. He even traded a few funny jabs with his cousins, so it wasn't entirely somber or anything.
Also, as a weird sidenote, there was another recognizable name at the funeral, too: Michael Peterson.
In retrospect, kind of surreal.

And according to IMDB, he has three upcoming movies, one of which is the live-action Lilo & Stitch. I'm betting he's one of the aliens.

It's always weird when the movie of the day to guess on Framed is the movie you just fucking watched the day before. More proof we live in a simulation.
