Ah new years...
Few years ago we went to a concert on new years eve, couple jam bands or something pretty packed show. We set up in the pit, found a spot that had air blowing directly down at us, other extra curriculurs were involved so it was sweaty and we wanted to keep the air flowing.
This couple in front of us is so in love and just feeling the tunes. Ball drop arrives and everyone gets ready... This couple has smuggled bags of glitter into the show. As it comes to the countdown they both grab giant handfuls of glitter and toss them into the air... And they get caught directly in the draft from the vent we were standing under, and remember I'm already pretty sweaty, and the glitter just absolutely destroys me, it covers almost every inch of my skin showing, in my eyes, on my head, covering my whole upper half.
I feel like I still hack up some glitter to this day from that couple.
I like to think they are still together... But secretly hope they drowned in a glitter related accident.
