This was obvious. Now wb needs to spin off the comics and streaming services. Lower price make the comics thing their own. License all of the other properties tied to dc to Netflix for multiple years. Overnight they would get more exposure and revenue. And combined they might have a chance at taking some of disneys market share.

Hopefully, we still get to see it, albeit with the re-written ending they mentioned. I'd really be pissed if it never saw the light of day.

Swampy is one of my favorite DC characters, so I'd love for a new live action series. Here's hoping they didn't cripple this series.

I think Derek Mears is a really good choice for Swamp Thing. He was pretty good as Jason, and while he didn't do much except get his head chopped off, his suit acting in Predators was pretty solid. I'm excited to see what he brings to the role.
The horror vibe looks great, though let's hope it doesn't get as trashy as the Man-Thing movie with it. I'm really hoping we eventually get the Un-Men in this series, though they'd be hard to pull off with a TV budget.

Really good first episode. In fact, I watched it twice. Of course, we don't get Swamp Thing till the very end of the episode, but all the pieces are in place for an interesting season. I really like Andy Bean as Alec Holland, plus it looks like we're still gonna get to see more of him. I also get the feeling they're gonna lean even more heavily into the horror aspects as the show goes on, which I can't wait for.
This and Doom Patrol have been a breath of fresh air for these DC shows.
