Id count in Tomb Raider cause people forget yes its a game but it also has comics. Tom Raider is kinda the best heroine female hero role. Not far from a Black Widow character really. Which should appeal more then Wonder Woman to the masses.

That surprises me because between the two I'd say Natasha has more 'personality'. She has a more apparent sense of humour anyway. Her constant teasing of Cap and trying to set him up was hilarious ("was that your first kiss since 1945?" - she's such a little shit...I'm noticing a pattern in my fav characters now) I would be just as amped for a Maria Hill movie though, she's one of my other favourite characters in the MCU. And that fav snuck up on me too.

The problem isn't the character itself. It's Scarlet Johansson. She's too dry. Even when she's being "funny" it doesn't translate. Let's face it. She's not a good actress AT ALL. Cobie Smulders is definitely better than her. And now that her TV show is over, they should definitely put the spotlight on her.

I wouldn't say she's THAT bad. I mean yeah she pretty much plays a type in all her movies but it pays off with Black Widow since basically that is the exact personality she's built a career on. She's no Meryl Streep but she doesn't make me cringe. I can see people finding the character too dry though. I personally love it but that ain't everybody's cup of tea. As for Cobie...she is outstanding. Like I'd let her walk on my back in heels outstanding. Sadly don't think she'll be getting a solo movie though. I'd be content to see her show up in the same Cap 2 capacity in as many MCU movies as possible though.
Getting back to the Wonder Woman though, do we have faith Gal Gadot can pull this off? I only know her from the Fast and Furious movies. She's rocking the outfit anyway.

Do recall old hollywood actors were under contracts in the Western movie days and Marvel maybe wants character thus actors available to appear in a movie. These being Super Hero flicks but lets be clear DC cant possible do the faze deal like Marvel has done so my guess is DC is shooting for this S VS B and Justice League as a way to try and hit the ground running.

From what it is looking like, they are really pushign the New 52 side of the DC world into film. I enjoyed Man of Steel. She wasn't my first choice, Gina Carano would have been perfect IMHO. We'll have to wait and see. If she's introduced first in BvS then this movie should just get right into the action.
