The doc telemarketers on HBO is really solid.
Sure you've heard scummy fake non profits... And sure acab they all bastards... This will do nothing but further solidify that belief.
Also has some prescient themes on AI surprisingly.

Prime to introduce ads next year. Ad free tier will cost more.
I can't help but think this is from the cost of Thursday night football combined with the streamers planning to put the cost of the new deal with writers and actors onto the consumer.

I said it 15 years ago and I’ve been proven right. On Demand is the future, not streaming. There’s no money in streaming. All these studios owning their streaming services were bound to fail. In 5 or 10 years, Pluto and Tubi will reign supreme. Maybe Hulu to some extent.

Maybe you guys can relate but I still remember the amount of rage I would feel when I'd send a movie back, look at my queue the next day and see that it hadn't been received. Furious would be an understatement.

What's the game one that was like that? I got banned from them because I complained about their slow turnover rate.
Swear words may have been exchanged and they have a weird Christian zero tolerance policy when it comes to the word shit.
Used to just burn the DVD immediately and then put it back in the mail the next day. Didn't matter what movie it was, just keep the train moving.

Furious would be an understatement. For most of my time with the disc service -- and yes, I kept it until today -- there was a Netflix warehouse not that far from where I live. That changed around...maybe 2019? The old warehouse shut down and my new one was apparently in New Jersey. So, whereas it used to take two days from after I sent one back to get my next, that window became three days after. I found it annoying at first, but I got used to it.

I think they're trying to hide that it's a series as a campaign strategy to help Henry Sugar compete as an individual live action short at the Oscars.

Disney is going in the wrong direction in just about every regard. I saw they hiked their park admission yet again despite attendance slowing. But yes, my D+ annual subscription ends next month. I won’t be renewing.
