Just finished season 1. WOW! Massive spoilers ahead.
Ned Stark is dead. Khal Drogo is dead. Did any of you see that coming? I certainly didn't. It's frustrating that Joffrey is now king which means he's not going anywhere and I assume he'll be a fixture in the show indefinitely. However I did enjoy how Rob Stark was declared King of the North which means we'll be getting used to seeing Rob and his mother for a very long time. The dragons at the end were pretty stupid though. But we saw Khaleesi's tits again so that was pretty cool.

Thorne got a good send off. Liked his portrayal. And fuck Olly (though who can blame him).
Also: Ser Arthur Dayne... Dual-wield bitches! That's what my Skyrim avatar could do in my head.
Looks like they're making a solid effort to make up for that Dorne embarrassment last season in the fighting scenes.

I never cried watching this show. I felt the gamut of emotions but never shed a tear.
This week's ending had me soooooo close. Heartbreaking, mindnumbing, soulcrushing.
The logical conclusion of the moment just makes it worse.
One of the best episodes in a while.
Sidebar: are the showrunners just screwing up Dorne? Because people were so excited about it....And they've had one episode so far. If answers could be book spoiler light I be much obliged.
