Seems like a pretty short sighted grift. Have you even seen the Comicsgate and Animegate grifts? They're short-sighted, and the Animegate grift left the actor in question in massive debt, but it's all about the people on the sidelines rooting people to continually hand them money by making them think their fighting a culture war by doing so. Carano will be thrown to the wayside, but she was most likely convinced she's going to conquer it by those folks who will make more money off of it than she will. I swear, if this movie crowdfunds its budget, then it all but confirms this is what is happening. |

It seems to me as though Gina has allowed herself to be drawn into the cult mindset that so many others have been over the past decade or so, and they've only become more rabid and radicalized in the trump era. It's become so rampant that we can't even go to a thread on The Mandalorian without finding it's corrupting influence. Don't try to read some kind of long-term agenda into her actions. There's almost certainly not one, and if there is, it's one that wouldn't make the slightest bit of sense to anyone who isn't part of the cult. She has gone on twitter to equate how most of the nation feels about the radical right with the persecution of Jews in Germany because she genuinely doesn't see the difference. These are people who think Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi kill babies and drink their blood. This is not the sort of mindset that results in quality decision making.
