I thought the trailer was excellent. Really interested in this film now. I wanted to scoff at the Scorsese comparisons, but the influence of Taxi Driver and even The King of Comedy was apparent here and I mean that in the best way possible.

While I think he will do a great job as Joker, I'm not really fond of the makeup.
And, um...so he goes nuts because he's been hit in the head too many times? Logical and interesting concept. They do say that damage to the frontal lobe of the brain causes a lack of impulse control, and that is seen in the history of many killers (a lot of the more devastating damage is done before the age of five though).
I kind of miss the chemical bath story
