Looks decent. Definitely a whole bunch of accolades coming Streep and possibly Mulligan's way. Blatantly Oscar-baity period films usually lead to a lot of eye-rolling but this is definitely a story well worth telling, especially in the current sociological climate.

Looks decent. Definitely a whole bunch of accolades coming Streep and possibly Mulligan's way. Blatantly Oscar-baity period films usually lead to a lot of eye-rolling but this is definitely a story well worth telling, especially in the current sociological climate. That's what makes me think it'll be a Best Picture contender. It's super relevant. There's also the Eddie Redmayne movie where he plays a tranny. |
