I know people are still crapping on this show, but I for one am REALLY liking this season overall. But I seriously hope Damien Darhk gets another totem or something, because I've been loving his character, especially because of Neal McDonagh's acting. Whenever he's on screen, I just have the biggest grin on my face.

I know people are still crapping on this show. I watch it out of habit at this point, but I am hyped for tonight's Legends of Tomorrow with alternate universe Oliver Queen.

I'm two episodes behind on Legends of Tomorrow, but yeah, this should be cool.

I'm two episodes behind on Legends of Tomorrow, but yeah, this should be cool. You're not missing much. They go to Russia in the 1980's and prevent the Soviets from making their own version of Firestorm. Tonight, they head to 2046 and run into an old man Oliver Queen and a post-apocalyptic Star City.

Yeah, I saw the promos. Looks like it could be a fun episode. They made Stephen Amell look like the comic book version of the character. That should bring up fan morale.

Am I one of the few who actually believes the death this week is genuine, and not a fake-out? I mean, the showrunners have come out and said it's for real.

Am I one of the few who actually believes the death this week is genuine, and not a fake-out? I mean, the showrunners have come out and said it's for real. I sort-of stopped watching Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Who died? Laurel. She was stabbed with one of Oliver's arrows by Damien Darhk while the team was trying to stop him from regaining his powers during a prison riot he started. Malcolm stole back his idol for him. Laurel seemed to be fine initially, but died in her hospital bed after surgery.
What's making people doubt it is she told Oliver, "You need to promise me something," before the camera pans back toward the window and the scene goes silent. Next thing you know, she's seizing like crazy before flatlining.
But again, showrunners and Katie Cassidy have confirmed it's legit.

PhantomKnight WyldstaarDidn't realize the crossover episode also served as the 100th episode. That explains all the original cast members returning. Nice as that was, it killed all the momentum from The Flash episode. And considering the Supergirl episode had NOTHING to do with the crossover, this mega 4-part crossover was over-hyped. It was really just a Flash / Legends of Tomorrow event.

I am all caught up for this season and have to say it has been more like the first couple seasons. That seemed to be where the Arrow creative team wanted it to go based on what I read, but now it just seems like a redo of the past. I know it's a comic book based show, but a big part of me feels like Oliver has way, way, too much backstory to work through, getting some character development exhaustion up to now. Hope the new year gets more original.

That was a special circumstance. The rest of the season has definitely felt that way.

You had Oliver, Diggle and later on they brought in Felicity. In the flashbacks it was Oliver and and whats-his-face from Spartacus. The show has too many characters these days and they're all silly.

This season still feels like Season 1 in that it's about taking on more street-level criminals than The League of Assassins and magic-fueled Damian Darhk -- and this is coming from a defender of Seasons 3 and 4. The whole Prometheus arc has become a lot more interesting and feels like Dark Archer from Season 1.

The whole Prometheus arc has become a lot more interesting and feels like Dark Archer from Season 1. That would be more appreciated if it was just Ollie, Diggle and Felicity. We don't need the extra baggage. I know most people feel season 2 is peak Arrow, and it is in many ways, but the fact they threw in so many regular characters bothered me. Keep it simple.

I like getting back to the street level criminals too but would drop about half of the actors right now. Hoping the second half gets more simplified that way.

My ranking of the DC CW shows this season:
Arrow (REALLY got back on track) Supergirl (despite some spotty writing with Mon-El) Legends of Tomorrow (found its footing this season) The Flash (uneven season, but episodes 3.15 - 3.23 were really good IMO)
And the move to Thursdays at 9 is weird, plus them keeping Supernatural at 8.

Last night's Arrow finale was pretty awesome. So much action. And intense. Prometheus proved to be a great villain.
