I was scheduled to present a paper at a conference next weekend which has since been canceled because of the Coronoavirus.
On the one hand, I'm pretty bummed. This was a good opportunity to build my academic career.
On the other hand, DOOM Eternal comes out next Friday and my weekend is now a whole lot more open.

I just wounded my leg and it wouldn't stop bleeding (I'm on blood thinners), the nurse had to put pressure on it for quite a while. thank goodness it stopped. they were trying to keep me out of the ER because of the virus.
Vermont has two known cases, one in Bennington and the other in BurlingtoN, and I am in several high-risk categories

The courthouse I work at just cancelled all scheduled court dates from this coming Monday through April 3rd. I spent most of the day generating rescheduling notices and calling people on the phone to let them know not to come to court next week. We'll still be technically open so far, but that will probably change next week. The next step is likely to be closing to the public, while everyone just gets paperwork done. Hopefully, we won't completely shut down.
