Keep it. I'm with Dracula, the commentary alone is reason enough to keep it.

You're just picking random movies.

No I'm not. I really liked Gone Girl in theaters, but I'm not sure its one that works on repeat viewings. I also don't care for what it has to say.

Repeat viewings and wanting to show movies to other people are definitely top of my list for owning movies. I agree that Gone Girl was good, but I have no desire to ever watch it again.

I remember buying it for 4 bucks at Target one year... I haven't even opened the movie but when it's on FX I invariably watch it.
I'd keep but I can't argue with chopping it either.

I remember you disagreeing with its criticisms of marriage. That's fair, but it can be looked at more generally as being a film simply questioning how much one can really know about somebody else, even someone seemingly so close. I also think that the media frenzy angle is perhaps the more significant thematic strand.

Let's not over-complicate this. The real reason you should keep is simply that every self-respecting blu-ray collection needs to have the complete works of David Fincher in it.

Yes, every collection needs the full Alien Trilogy too So I'm not the only one who pretends Resurrection doesn't exist?

Somebody was clearly being blackmailed or paid off when Armageddon was added to the collection.

Okay I'll hold onto Gone Girl for a while. Next: Thirteen Days Keep. This is the scariest movie I've ever seen. Freddie Kruger ain't got shit on the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Didn't Kevin Costner win an Oscar for his accent in that movie?

Didn't Kevin Costner win an Oscar for his accent in that movie? Yeah, I think it was one of his 3 accent-awarded Oscars.

Save. It's a little long and not as funny as is could be but it has some neat design elements and a good soundtrack, and it's worth having a complete Wes Anderson set.

Is it the criterion collection?
I'd still keep it for nostalgia, and I still like watching it.
There's a bar near here called hidden harbor that specializes in tiki drinks, the whole place is themed around life aquatic. Red hats on the coat hooks, jaguar shark drinks, quotes written on the bathroom walls, pictures from the movie, etc etc.
