I wonder if we'll get a drawing tomorrow Apparently the guy who used to draw those passed away and they're just ending the tradition.

Fast Times should be a Shout Factory release with the TV series as a bonus feature

Criterion is teasing me with a large picture of Cary Grant from Bringing Up Baby on their Current newsletter. They are just rubbing it in...

Mmmm is today the day I finally order The Kid? I know it's a premium price for a movie that's less than 60 minutes long, but WHAT'S THE HOLDUP?

It's the last of Chaplin's silent features I don't have. And A Woman of Paris, I suppose, but that's kind of a different thing altogether. Once I have The Kid I was thinking I'd have me a little marathon.

A Woman of Paris I remember little about, but mostly because I had company the only time I watched it and never got back to it. I have a DVD somewhere, but I was waiting for Criterion to give me a good HD scan. But since Chaplin's not the main in it, I doubt it's priority for them.

Gonna sit this one out after splurging on the last two. I'm behind on watching mine while I catch up on 2020 for Drac's annual thread.

My new releases watched were at an all-time low in 2020 with just 21 (though that number doesn't include certain releases tallied as 2019 on Letterboxd or the 2020 movies I've watched in 2021). But my overall movie watching was at an all-time high with 625 movies watched in 2020.

I'm at 87 scripted features Bitch, please. Hollywood didn’t release 87 movies in 2020. The Golden Stake Awards are just gonna be a bunch of Netflix movies. Just accept Sonic was the best movie of 2020 and let’s put that crazy year behind us.
