Coming April 30, 2019 to the Criterion Collection I've already placed my pre-order.

I usually wait until the Barnes and Noble sales but this time I think I'm going to indulge myself 4 months early.
Thanks for the heads up!

June titles announced.
There's a comment I read that said once again they have even more Ingmar Bergman, in the meantime it's been months and years since they've released anything from Charlie Chaplin, Akira Kurosawa etc. They must have some backend deal with the Bergman estate.

What's clearly going on is they did all the mastering and assembling of bonus features they needed to do for the big boxed set they did for his centenary but they also want to release as many of the movies as possible as individual releases for people like me who'd rather collect them that way. It's probably trivialy easy to just put the movies out in different boxes like this so I doubt it's being done at the expense of any other releases.

The release of Kid Brother somewhat subsided my thirst for a Chaplin release, though it probably won't last long.
In the meantime I'll gladly accept fome Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers for now.

At least you’ll own Ivan Ooze in June.

I’m doing a 2 week trial of the Criterion Channel. It’s pretty damn sweet, I might just spring the $100 for a years subscription. Anyone else pick it up?

I'll subscribe as soon as they have a PS4, Xbox, or smart TV app I can use. I'm not watching these movies on my damn laptop and I'm out of HDMI inputs.

I'm insulted you didn't tag me after the amount of bitching I've done in this thread.
