Looks rather Abrams-y. The X-wing shots look cool. But in 30 years, after defeating the empire (essentially), how have the rebels not upgraded their technology?

I had a nerdgasm after watching it. I want this movie to erase the pain and disappointments known as the prequels. Looks like it's on the right track. Other than the Stormtrooper scene, I disagree. I think the Stormtrooper scene was one of the best scenes of the teaser. It adds a gritty, war movie, feel to the film. The Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back gave me that same feeling as well. |

It was all too obviously phony, and the camera shots played it far too safe. It didn't help choosing to make all the clone troopers CGI, for some really dumb reason. |
