It will be up on the net soon enough. Other than it being Thanksgiving, it's a weird weekend to do this odd promotion. They even have an IMAX at the theater I would go to, but again, there's nothing that really needs to be seen coming out this weekend. Not to make it worth the travel, that is. |

Other than it being Thanksgiving Thanksgiving is a big weekend for movie theaters. Last year, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire grossed $109 million between Wednesday and Sunday. And Disney's Frozen, which ended up being the biggest movie of the year, grossed $93 million for the same time period. That's $202 million for just two movies. This year, there's another Hunger Games. There's Big Hero 6, Interstellar, Horrible Bosses 2 and The Penguins of Madagascar. There's something for everyone and I'm sure we'll see a rebound in box office and attendance. Disney played their cards right. I'm sure this will give Star Wars VII lots of attention and exposure. |

Yes, it would, if it was playing nation-wide. Crappy cellphone versions will be all over the Internet. The 30 cities will create free advertising for Disney. Like I said... they played this well. |

It's like in the Super Bowl where they show you a movie commercial and then tell you to go online to watch the full version. |
