I'm trying to catch as little footage as possible and avoid stuff for when I see it on December 24th but here's a totally unfounded, purely speculative guess as to who's-who. That's my plan as well. Of course, that's going to go to shit once stuff gets leaked all over Facebook because people are twats.

99% of the time I don't mind your tagging me on things, but please stop tagging me on all the Star Wars stuff.

They bring up an interesting point. Kylo Ren does look Jar Jar esque when you analyze the details of the mask.

If Kylo Ren stays masked the entire time, this might be Adam Driver's most tolerable performance yet.

I don't know if it did, but then again I was 9 so I wouldn't have known about them even if they did.
Ouch, a 3.5/4. My friends and I are watching all 6 films before this one, mostly to watch the originals but also because I've only seen Episodes II and III once, in theaters, and want to revisit them just to reconfirm that they suck. We watched Phantom Menace a month ago. Wow, it's even worse than I remember. Jar Jar has more lines than Obi-Wan, NOTHING HAPPENS, bland expositional (not a real word) dialogue, stupid politics that no one cares about, and Darth Maul for all his bad-assery in the admittedly cool lightsaber battle has NOTHING to his character. Nothing at all. You think about the time Lucas wastes in that film with the Gungans and the political talk and the pod racing and you realize he could've spent that time on just about anything else. It had been years since I'd watched it, and it's a total piece of crap. Not looking forward to Episode II either, which is almost as bad for different reasons and is definitely more disappointing. I do not miss Lucas at all.

I do not miss Lucas at all. Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Wars movie, but Revenge of the Sith is arguably better than Return of the Jedi. That being said, both movies are CGI porn and it'll make you reconsider your hatred for The Phantom Menace. The one thing I applaud George Lucas for is shooting The Phantom Menace on film and in as many real locations as possible. The Phantom Menace, flawed or super flawed, is closer in spirit to the original trilogy than the other two movies.

I'd say Attack of the Clones is way worse. Phantom Menace at least has the lightsaber battle and "Duel of the Fates". Clones has nothing.

Yeah, I always stood by the notion that Episode II is the worst because none of it feels authentic at all. The writing stinks, the characters are zero-dimensional, and all of the action pieces are so dull. Plus, I've always hated the title. Episode II is a piece of crap. I saw it with friends for my 11th birthday and I hated it THEN. This is when I liked anything I watched. Hell, two years LATER I gave The Matrix Revolutions a 10/10, and yet the only time I watched Episode II I loathed it. So yeah, time to reconfirm what my 11 year old self knew.

And I never check out Rotton Tomatoes or metacitic before going to a movie.

I remember the 3.5/4 Ebert rating. I was so excited to see it after that.
I'm going to watch all six before VII comes out, and I've watched I and II so far. Episode II has to be the worst one.

That sounds great, but I'm seeing it on Saturday, two days after it comes out. That will be enough time...

Not seeing it until Monday. You're gonna be doing crazy overtime when this movie opens. Do you get paid time and a half when you go over 40 hours a week?

Not seeing it until Monday. You see what I mean, Neverending!? In two whole days, I will have enough time to send every single spoiler to Fanible in bullet form with the inconspicuous title "Ideas for banners" and there's nothing he would be able to do about it!
