Don't freak out. They'll add more screenings in December. I remember when I went to see The Dark Knight, half the theater was devoted to the movie. People were literally running from auditorium to auditorium trying to find the best seats. I am so glad that this open seating nonsense is finally starting to go away. Ever since one of my local theaters switched to reserved seating, I give them my business whenever possible. |

Purchased my first round of tickets for the first showing I could get on Thursday night, then again for Sunday night, to let the awe of my first viewing to settle in so I can re-watch with at least a little less star wars bias, lol.

Are you gonna dress up? Even though I hated the prequels, I always went to see them on opening night because geeks dressed up and had lightsaber battles in the aisles. |

When I saw Revenge of the Sith, two guys literally fought each other over a seat. Full on fist fight. Then one of the guy's dad dragged him out and this old guy stood up and said "he's on the dark side!" No one really laughed. Well I did, because I was 15. This was all while the opening title crawl was happening. Gotta love California.

These trailers really have been fantastic. I've been keeping my expectations measured, but it's hard not to get excited by how well put-together these ads are.

I'm trying to catch as little footage as possible and avoid stuff for when I see it on December 24th but here's a totally unfounded, purely speculative guess as to who's-who.
The girl in the trailer is Han and Leia's daughter.
Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) is her brother.
Luke takes on the Obi-Wan role and dies, making future appearances in the franchise as Obi-Wan did.
It all would make sense and mirror the events of the original trilogy. Or none of that could happen, just a guess.

Kylo Ren is actually Jar Jar. They decided to not show the CGI to keep it a surprise in the second film. I am noticing though that the bottom of Kylo's helmet looks like it was taken off of something else, maybe Vader's helmet? It could just be me though.
