You forgot that McCarthy will probably fart a lot and eat someone's food and her rude nature will be off-putting. BUT! Over the course of the film, her flatulence and potty mouth will win them over as she proves herself in ghost busting, and the 4 put aside their character archetypes to save the day! |

I didn't think that movie was bad, nothing to go crazy about but it was funny enough and the plot was decent. This, this is just shameless bullshit. Shit, I'd rather have it be a cast of children ghost busters than this cast. |

I didn't think Bridesmaids was bad. Then you'll probably like the all-female Ghostbusters. Despite all the press that Melissa McCarthy is getting, Kristen Wiig is most likely the star. McCarthy is gonna start production on another movie very soon and has her CBS sitcom. She almost didn't sign on and it's very possible that she'll be the Ernie Hudson of the movie. Leslie Jones was the breakout star of Chris Rock's Top Five and could possibly be a scene stealer here too. Then there's Kate McKinnon who is very popular on SNL. You probably have seen her work: I think if the movie focuses on Wiig and McKinnon, it could work. The original Ghostbusters starred two SNL members and an SCTV member. Keeping that SNL/Second City spirit alive is critical. And if Paul Feig could manage to get Bill Murray that would be a plus. |
