It's nice to see that the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man lost some weight, or is that Melissa Mccarthy I get them confused......

I like Paul Frig, or liked him in the past.
3 of the 4 leads are very funny people. They decided to take the least interesting or funny one, Leslie Jones, and make her the one that's supposed to be funny.
I actually want to like this movie, I'm not even against a continuation of the storyline, but they've just made a whole shitload of bad decisions.

The casting is just terrible. Kate McKinnon is the only one that makes sense because she went through the trouble of dressing up like the cartoon version of Egon. You can tell she's the only one that actually LIKES the Ghostbusters. They should have stuck with Emma Stone and cast Ryan Gosling in the Sigourney Weaver role. It's still shocking they didn't go through with those choices. Stone, McKinnon with MAYBE Krysten Ritter and Sanaa Lathan would have worked better. I think.

I absolutely will not be watching this. The only reason this will make decent money is because this summer is a major dud. Other than Star Trek and Jason Bourne, I'm not really excited for much this summer, and Ghostbusters will do well enough because of a lack of competition. It won't be getting my time or money though.

It...just doesn't look even remotely funny or entertaining. Normally I'll give just about anything a chance, but this is asking a lot. They needed a better cast.

They're also trying hard to gin up controversy to get people to see it which is why they're doubling down on the whole 'misogyny' angle. The actors and filmmakers are bringing it up at every turn when in reality nobody really cares about the 'women' cast, they care about the awful product.

Exactly, it's an excuse to hide behind instead of owning up to the film sucking. They'll always use this excuse as the reason for people disliking it. I could care less about it being a female cast, I don't like the movie because no parts of the trailer are funny (really bad sign for a comedy) and it appears to be a watered down rehash of the original, which I would detest for any remake/reboot in general. So you're right, they're trying to play the sexist card to full effect but people aren't biting. The trailer stinks and the movie will be just as bad.

People need to speak with their wallets. Unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me if this movie makes money based on curiosity alone. Either that, or if we all end up wrong and it gets crazy positive reviews.

we all end up wrong and it gets crazy positive reviews. It's possible. I was reading Empire Magazine and they revealed that the villain is a human being, basically the equivalent of the guy who built the building at the center of the original Ghostbusters. So there's a whole element to the movie that the trailers aren't revealing at all.

It drives me even more crazy when those same people complain about all the crappy movies that are still being made. I try not to pick any dogs in a fight but if you don't like this new Ghostbusters, if you're tired of reboots, remakes and rehashes then don't see it. Vote with your wallet or don't complain.

You can watch a crappy movie, but you don't have to PAY for it. I haven't paid to watch an Adam Sandler movie in 6 years. And now he's on Netflix - where he belongs. Even if he gets a lot of viewership, it doesn't matter. We're paying for Netflix, not Sandler.

Won't see it at all unless reviews are 60+% on RT. If it's an 80+%er (yeah right), I may hit the multiplex.
Congrats, Rotten Tomatoes, you now rule my movie-going life.
