It's a great list if you're a 23 year old unemployed film school grad.

This is a much better list than you'd expect to see from a publication. These are all really excellent films.

I've seen 92. A couple of odd omissions but overall a pretty respectable list.

Yeah, it's not in the order I'd go, but overall I think this is a solid list. Sure, it goes for some art house stuff more than I think it should, but I'm happy to see certain films getting love on there.

To be fair I was only looking at the list of 10 you posted. Mulholland Drive at #1 huh? Color me shocked.

It's a pretty solid list, even if the order is vastly different from what I'd have.

To be fair I was only looking at the list of 10 you posted. Mulholland Drive at #1 huh? Color me shocked. That and In the Mood for Love are always the highest rated. On the They Shoot Pictures, Don't They top 1,000 list I go off they're the only two from the 2000s to be in the top 100. So not surprising for me, Mulholland Drive only seems to gain traction with each passing year.

Ah, I've only seen 62 of them.
Mad Max is at #19. Classic.

No love for LOTR. Yeah, that was a really glaring omission to be sure. To not even be on the list is absurd.

Presumably the voters were reluctant to fill up three slots on their ballots with it and the people voting for different installments cancelled each other out.

Yeah that makes sense, still I don't think anyone would be opposed to a blanket "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" to encompass all of them. Either way, at least one of the films should be on that list (and high on that list) for representation. Also, The Social Network should be higher, that's one of top 10 best films of this decade.

I do like seeing Zodiac and Children of Men as high as they are.

Children of Men is an amazing film. It didn't get the love it deserved in 2006 because the studio screwed it over by releasing it on Christmas day and basically throwing the film away. Now those incredible tracking shots are among the most famous ever and people are very aware of the film now, but it should've garnered much more attention 10 years ago.

I'm surprised to see AI.
As for LOTR not voted for, that was clearly some sort of elitist ideal. "This was popular, so I'm not voting for it" Picture the person saying that with their nose high in the air.

Guys, the Lord of the Rings movies are not starved for attention. Maybe it's for the best that they found some room for some less known movies.
