IanTheCool are you getting the final book? Should we trust that the show won't jump too far ahead with ideas? I won't be able to read it in a week, hope the show doesn't ruin anything.

I am going to get it, yes, but I probably wont get to reading it until Christmas. I'm reading a ridiculously long book right now that I want to finish first

I had not thought about a show time jump to spoil it though. Now I am worried about it.

Yea someone posted a pic of the book and it flashed in my mind they coulda done a grrm thing and given them an idea on how the whole thing ends to incorporate it into the final season.
Semi nervous about it myself.

I love the books way more than the show, so maybe I will read first, then watch

Well I lied and I've started watching it.
Halfway home - can already tell how they are gonna do things but I'm still not sure how they wrap it all up.
Absolutely loathe inaros' man bun.

IanTheCool no risk in watching. Ends pretty much exactly before the time jump. Some slight differences. Much like dune part 1.... Sure feels like sci Fi blue balls. Hope someone completes the story eventually.
