But a great way to advertise the film. Batman and Robin: A Great Film to Die to! I think Son Of Batman Be The Perfect Idea for a post B VS S OR JL movie cause in it they introduced a new Robin But He is batmans son with Talia.

Well I would in the story wouldnt call Him Damien and would make some changes too him. I would blend The more likability or Drake with that of Talia s son. Cause as you say Damien was quite the little prick in the movie.

Hey, can we discuss Doomsday for a second? Is it just me or does every CGI creature seem to have the same slimy texture in almost every movie? I feel like the troll in LOTR set the template and ever since any creature needing CGI has that same texture and look to it. All of Del Toro's creatures, the cloverfield monster, everything in the Hobbit movies, etc.

All of Del Toro's creatures, the cloverfield monster, everything in the Hobbit movies, etc. it looked like a bit like abomination really. I assumed also that Doomsday was an alien not some creature made from Zods body. I mean that Doomsday was an alien in the comics. Not what lame excuse to use because Snyder didnt no what too do too finish the movie with just lex as the villain. Obviously Brainac should have been the alternate villain here. Doomsday is too soon for the death of superman arc. Unless Lois is pregnant and we are gonna have Super Boy which means basically a younger clone of Superman. Doomsday was a genetically engineered weapon created by Kryptonian technology.

Well I just assumed he was an alien. But I am Right it was not from zods body. My main point is you dont introduce a new Superman and then do the Death of Superman arc. I just dont like the story Snyder developed. Here. Have no issue with Batman In the Movie or Wonder Women. I just felt that there could have been a two part movie done here. Batman is only saved by Affleck and well Wonder Women was fresh because they didnt have time to use the story too mess it up. I think Death of Robin would have been a good Beginning to do A Beginning Movie before the events of Man of Steel effected things. To be honest I think schedules too make comic too compete with other comics is whats wrong here. DC needs too back up and let people make movies at a whatever pace. B V S vs Cap 3 was what everyone cared about and in that haste DC ruined this movie and I just hope Marvel didnt fall into that trap and just put characters in and the story stinks.

There I edited it so you dont gotta see any spoilers. But its getting a bit tiresome too not expect spoilers in a movie review thread.

variety.com/2016/film/box-office/box-office-batman-v-superman-1201744334/“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” appears to be losing steam as it ends its second weekend in theaters. Once again, the critically loathed superhero film topped the box office, picking up $52.4 million. However, that represented a steep 68% fall from its $166 million debut. The results suggest that “Batman v Superman” will be a front-loaded blockbuster along the lines of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” or “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” all of which earned a disproportionate share of their revenues in their initial weekends and suffered similar drop-offs. Given that the picture features two of the highest-profile comic-book characters in movie history, the results, which on paper are impressive, are nevertheless being heavily scrutinized. “When you’re squaring off with Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy, good luck,” said Jeff Bock, box office analyst with Exhibitor Relations. “The bottom line is it wasn’t a film up to the caliber of previous Batman or Superman films.”

As hard as it is to believe, it looks like BvS is going to be a financial disappointment at the box office. There is something seriously wrong when a movie can bring in $682 million at the worldwide box office, and it hasn't broken even yet. While it seems likely that BvS will eventually make it into the black, it is never going to be the hit WB wanted it to be.
In the big picture though, I don't think the box office disappointment really matters. WB is still getting loads of money out of BvS through their merchandising. There are almost as many products on store shelves with Batman and Superman emblems on them as there are ones with Star Wars characters. I thought the movie was dumb, but that's not going to stop me from buying the Lego Batmobile and Batwing based on the movie. I've already purchased the BvS Heroclix figures.

Um Its obviously not gonna be a flop cause it can still pull a Billion World Wide through its run its there only second week. But Then again sometimes Comic book movies dont make as much as say a well know sci fi sequel. But then again this is Batman and Superman so I just think its very possible it breaks even and maybe makes little more profit again when the extended dvd releases come out. This movie is safe but maybe not JL.

It makes no difference, WB knows that no matter how bad, how truly awful, how insulting they make a Batman movie that people will see it no matter what. No.Matter.What. We ALL watched Batman & Robin in theaters. Of course I do. I remember we watch Batman & Robin and Batgirl movie over a decade ago. I remember that they fight against Mr. Freeze & Poison Ivy, as well as Bane.

This is all spin. The only news that would matter is giving Zack Snyder very little creative control.

Batman v Superman opens at my dollar theater this week but I still need to squeeze in Deadpool. Considering I have zero desire to see Batman though I'll probably just skip it.

In a way B V S failure could be the turning point too good movies being released. And lets be fair here Its not like Civil War was an untouchable epic. I think Dr Strange, Black Panther and Spiderman is what Marvel needed to get out of its whatever creative funk there in and Suicide Squad and WW could be very good films. Id be ok if Justice League were Postponed in case DC had concerns.

Postponing Justice League really isn't an option. Contracts have been signed and shooting locations have been rented. Many of the actors likely have other projects scheduled after Justice League is supposed to be finished filming, especially the bigger name actors. Any delay would cost WB millions, and their actors wouldn't be available anymore.
This weekend appears to be the one in which most theaters have decided to drop Batman v Superman, which leaves the film at $870 million as of 5/19. WB might be able to add a bit more to their official box office total, but the reality is that it's done. Most film journalists expected BvS to manage still $900 million in the wake of it's disappointing reception.
When it comes to the announced changes to the handling of the DCCU, I buy it to some extent. Even as hidebound as the suits at WB have always been, those dinosaurs much eventually get to the point where they can no longer ignore the numbers. When the people you put in charge of your cash cow only manage to break even, while the critics and public alike lambast you, and the competition kicks your ass with F-ing Deadpool (with the guy you picked for Green Lantern no less!), it's time to pull your head out of the sand and do something about it. DC is simply too valuable a property to be allowed this many screw ups. If I were a stockholder in Time/Warner, I'd be super-pissed. If it weren't for the fact that a lawsuit from the stockholders would only drive the value of their shares down even more, the stockholders would probably sue for failure to follow due dilligence. They definitely have a strong case.
