The fact that Tom Hardy is in the hospital for an MRI in the first scene makes me think that perhaps his version of Eddie Brock is going to incorporate elements of Flash Thompson's Agent Venom. Tom clearly still has his legs, but perhaps he's been paralyzed or something.

Ugh. Sony needs to lean how to tease because this was pathetic. Even if they had just titled the fucking movie it would have been an improvement.
I'm sorry, but if I see a trailer for a movie with someone screaming in a hospital room followed by a giant "V" I don't think I watched a trailer for Venom, I think I just watched the trailer for Vasectomy: The Motion Picture.

Looks better than I expected. That dudes always playing a bad guy since the night of.
Tom Hardy's American accent just makes him sound dopey.
Clearly foreshadowing Carnage though with the multiple symbiotes, assuming they will at the very least allude to him.
