Even if people dont expect it to be good, they still want to see it.

They are expecting Chris Pratt to draw in the crowd like he did with Guardians. I didn't watch Jurassic Park III in theaters. No Goldblum, no ticket. But I'll consider wasting money on Chris Pratt.

I'm excitied. It won't hold up to the original which is a classic. But I think it can be as good if not better than the "The Lost World"

It would have to be Jurassic Park III bad to be worse than The Lost World.

Just based on personal experience I don't know a lot of people who say 'I can't wait for the next Chris Pratt movie.'

The Lost World isnt bad . If anything, its more entertaining that the first IMO. III is so terrible. Just hoping for some dino carnage from this one and from the trailers and spots, we're getting that

The Lost World has a more satisfying climax than Jurassic Park.

And PG Cooper had a more satisfying climax with your mama.

Just based on personal experience I don't know a lot of people who say 'I can't wait for the next Chris Pratt movie.' Only reason I initially watched Guardians was because of Pratt. I had zero interest in it but gave it a shot. Of course it ended up being a great film but I might not have found out for another few months had Pratt not been the lead.

The only human to kill a dinosaur in the Jurassic Park franchise: Probably the dumbest scene of the entire series, including Jurassic World which I have not seen yet but can guarantee that it won't get any worse than that scene.

I think someone needs to coin a "law" that: no matter how bad a franchise gets, it can always reach an even lower point. Shyamalan's Law? The Die Hard Law?

The shittier his movies get the more the mainstream loves it. That's not really what Jibbs is saying.

It was literally dumped in the middle of February and there probably won't be a 6th one unless it's some sort of reboot. I think it could count.

The last Die Hard brought in 304.7 million from the box office, nearly 3 times its budget. Now that's not the best numbers in the world but I would hardly call that a mainstream failure.

Terminator Salvation also applies to this rule. It made decent money, but it doesn't qualify as success either.

"A Good Day to Die Hard" was a tremendous piece of shit, one of the worst films of the decade, I couldn't believe how awful every second of it was. I think the Shyamalan Law is a great way to go, the guy is still attempting to make excuses for the Airbender movie. What a moron.
