And the youngest raptor, Tommy, will become The One Who Leads.

But it turns out his half-brother, Ronald Ramses IV, has been working with the mutant dino from the beginning!

Hey the first movie establish Raptors as the terrifyingly intelligent menaces of franchise. Now they are labradors. Ruins the mystique a little. You will cry when they get killed defending Andy from Parks & Rec. I only cry at Pixar movies and Nolan films about space.

It looks like it'll be decent until we start going "hey, that's like that scene in the original", which looks like it will happen at least 3 times.
The lack of Goldblum worries me.
Just have him as a mentally unstable guy in a wheelchair saying "I told you so...I TOLD YOU SO!"
Whatever.
Goldblum in any capacity is better then no Goldblum
Even Independence Day 2 and 3 is aware of this.
Emmerich 1 - 0 Trevorrow
Trevorrow has the worst name in showbusiness.

I'm worried about Pratt's character a little bit. Andy Dwyer and Starlord are great because you can see the actor in them, they're not a million miles away from the goofy real life C. Pratt and it shows.
This Jurassic World guy doesn't seem to have anything about him. Pratt probably tried to bring his usual humour to it and I can imagine it got suppressed. This is all guesswork, mind you, but he's no Brando, let's be honest.
If they didn't capitalise on his strengths then that could be a detriment to the whole movie.
Also, fuck you Firefox spell-check, trying to change Capitalise to Capitalize. These Americanisms will not be facilitated. Not on my watch!

Never fear!
Chris Pratt plays Chris Pratt and he doesn't "control" the Raptors.

Those were some pretty corny/bland performances. Howard especially for some reason.

It's hard to say, I mean it should do well based on name alone, but a lot of people I talk to about the film aren't sure what to think of it at this point. I think reviews are gonna be the factor on it, though either way it should open around $100 mil opening weekend, though I'd figure more likely it to be around $85 mil.

They are expecting Chris Pratt to draw in the crowd like he did with Guardians.
