Meh. It sounds like he had some hair brained scheme to make another anthem to lame stuff, this time mopeds, then 1/3 of the way into writing it he heard Uptown Funk on the radio and said "shit, I need to make a retro song too!" Then he hired three old school MC so he could waste them as glorifed backup singers and let some weird Freddy Mercury wannabe take over the song in the second half. Macklemore feels like a featured artist on his own song, which probably isn't too bad a thing on its own but its still strange. All that having been said, it's still way better than that Ed Sheeran bullshit he was trying to put out last month.
