I posted a "Most shocking deaths" list once. Here's my results. These are rated on shock value, spontaneity, star power, the movie’s popularity and the method of death. Some of the deaths are from book adaptations where readers already knew the deaths were coming, but they might be lowered in some cases based on the book's popularity.
