I went on the internet and I found thisIt will be interesting to see how this differs from Top Gear. I'm so excited. I loved TG and was so disappointed that it had to end the way it did. Hopefully being stateside doesn't mean a delay in the release of episodes.

I'm sure it will be. The format will be dramatically different, but the spirit of the show will remain.
From the article regarding their deal "As well as the substantial financial rewards on offer, the three are said to have been attracted by a pledge by Amazon to give them a free creative rein to make the shows they want."

Thanks for posting this Seakazoo. I love these guys on Top Gear and after the awfulness of the US version I thought I would be out of luck. I have been reduced to watching Jay Leno videos on YouTube to get my car show fix. The BBC screwed up firing Clarkson. Him being an arrogant racist is nothing new, they should have just offered him more money to be less racist and less violent and let the show continue.
