All of these directors give you hope that anyone can direct a feature film at some point. Thing is, I don't think any of these directors (with the possible exception of Uwe Boll) are incompetant filmmakers so much as they're soulless hacks. They clearly know how to mount professional productions, they just use their powers to make dumb lowest common denominator movies that are devoid of personality and ambition.

Not that it really matters, but the director of Coach Carter was actually Thomas Carter.
