Wesley Snipes, while at SDCC to promote his new TV show, said there has been a meeting between him and Marvel about another Blade movie!
Of course it is just talk but imagine how glorious it would be to have him reprise the role in today's MCU.
Hope to hear more on this soon.

If rated R, yes it would. If they try to tone it down to PG-13 and have him high fiving Iron Man, no.

Nope. Snipes was given to us by Jesus to play this role. Same with Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool.

I bet he tries to ask for a RDJ size salary. So a pile of money about 5'9" tall or just one comically large dollar bill that size?

Of course it is just talk but imagine how glorious it would be to have him reprise the role in today's MCU. I can just imagine how that meeting was arranged. Feige's Assistant- Wesley Snipes' agent called again. Should I set up a meeting or arrange for an emergency protective order? Kevin Feige- I suppose we at least owe him a meeting, but no more than ten minutes. Isn't he fifty-something? Feige's Assistant- Yeah, but he looks forty-something, for what that's worth. I can squeeze him into your schedule just before you have to fly out to Atlanta to pick the new Spider-Man. Kevin Feige- Is there any chance that if I mention I'm casting a child as Spider-Man, Wesley will take the hint that he's too old? Feige's Assistant- He couldn't take the hint to pay his taxes every April 15th, when every commercial, news program and late night comedian was talking about tax season. I wouldn't count on it. Kevin Feige- Better make it five minutes at the most, then.

If he did not say "Always bet on black" during the meeting then it was a wasted meeting.

If he did not say "Always bet on black" during the meeting then it was a wasted meeting. Kevin Feige- Wesley, I appreciate your passion for the role and the ah... interesting screenplay you came up with during your ah... sabbatical, but we're looking to cast someone who can portray Blade for at least six films over the course of more than a decade. I just don't see how you could pull that off. Also, we've already got a team developing our horror comics universe into a series of scripts, and your vision just doesn't fit into our plans. Wesley Snipes- Always bet on black! Kevin Feige- Well, yes I suppose. We're talking to John Boyega at the moment. Wesley Snipes- Man, what is it with you guys casting Brits as American superheroes? Kevin Feige- Blade is from England in the comics actually, and we try to stay more loyal to the source material here at Marvel Studios. Feige's Assistant- Sir, we're going to have to leave now if we're going to make the flight. Kevin Feige- Well, it was nice meeting you Wesley. We'll keep you in mind for a cameo if the script calls for one. I'm sure John would love a chance to meet one of his childhood heroes. Gotta run.

I don't honestly mean to run Wesley Snipes down. He was the perfect actor to portray Blade, and he lived up to his potential, even if Blade: Trinity squandered it all. That train wreck had nothing to do with his role. I think Snipes has got at least one more Blade movie left in him, and maybe even two, despite his age. That said however, we all know that Marvel Studios isn't interesting in making just one or two movies with someone like Blade. They're determined to put the past of these characters they've regained behind them and move forward, as they've done so far with Daredevil, The Punisher and Elektra.
