MJ being a big idiot again. Love it. Poor Charlotte fans though.
And it just looks weird... I get it but... Kristaps is Latvian and Mario is Croatian and Emmanuel is the steal of the draft and from Congo by way of Texas.
I also think the Heat got a steal.

He is not a top ten talent and they just traded for Spencer Hawes who is pretty much the same but more expensive.

Your Lakers are definitely up there, I think they got a real talent in Russell, granted they don't trade him for DeMarcus Cousins. The backlash that the Knicks have seen from their pick is hilarious. Carmelo Anthony hates life so much right now.

You're talking about the Knicks' pick? Nothing wrong with him, obviously no one at this point can accurately predict the career of a 19-year-old European player. But Knicks fans wanted someone that can make an impact sooner, and he's not going to fulfill that for a few years at least. The Knicks are going to stink up the joint again next season, and Carmelo is just whining big time when he knew what he was getting into when he signed on for all that money. Knicks aren't going to win anytime soon, so might as well get some guys to develop that will help them win down the road. Anytime you take a young European player it's a risk, only Dirk and Pau have paid off in recent years, but there's definitely potential there. Knicks are just a complete disaster, and it's hilarious.

I gave up on the Knicks when the Nets went to back-to-back Finals. That's just unacceptable.

I thought their Stephon Marbury teams were bad, those are glory days compared to where they are now.

SnoBorderZero frankytMaybe I'm out of the loop, but when did watching basketball on Christmas become a thing? ABC and ESPN will air FIVE basketball games on Christmas with the headliner being a laughable Lakers vs Clippers match-up. The fuck? Also, while we are on the subject, do people actually watch football on Thanksgiving? I'm assuming most fatasses fall asleep in the couch after stuffing their mouth with food. So why wouldn't Christmas be any different?

They've been doing the five games on Christmas for at least the last 3 or 4 years. At any family thing for Christmas there's a TV on in the background playing the games, so I'll stop and watch if it's worth it. The Rockets were on there a couple years ago and I watched the game, why not?
And are you serious? Of course people watch football on Thanksgiving, shit people would watch football over the birth of their child if they could. I'm sure Cowboys and Lions fans get around the TV every year since they're on every year. They eat a bunch of food, sit down in front of the TV, watch, fart, sleep, repeat.

I'm sure it's a wait and see situation. I mean, the only reason the Thunder weren't good last year was because of him being injured all season. He has Westbrook, and that's more enticing than anything waiting for him with the Wizards, Knicks, and Lakers. As long as Westbrook is there, why leave? Durant has proven that he can get endorsements and media attention playing in Oklahoma City. They need more around those two though, Serge Ibaka can only give you so much. We'll see how Steven Adams develops this year, the Thunder haven't had a good big man like, ever.

They need a low post presence. San Antonio will kill them, so will Memphis. They also don't have great depth beyond their starting 5 and really need to upgrade there as well.

If I was OKC I wouldn't offer him shit until he shows me his foot is fixed. I have my doubts he will ever play a full season again.

We're both too upset at the Rockets to shower accolades on other teams.

I hate that they beat the Rockets record. But they are a fun team to watch. I hate them so much, they defy all average, but damn they play the game beautifully.
Anyone been watching Ben Simmons at LSU? Can't wait for him, like 10x the athlete Draymond Green is, gonna be fun to see him. Anywhere but Philly.

frankyt SnoBorderZeroKobe Bryant. 1996 to 2016. 20 years in the NBA. Love him or hate him. He was one of the best. It's a shame he's gonna retire with the Lakers being a piece of shit.

That dunk contest was rad.
Interesting to see where Danny Ainge takes the Celtics at the trade deadline. The team seems like its one or two pieces away from contending for the East. Just got to figure out what pieces to give away, what trade pieces to keep.
