RIP. Braveheart was one of my all-time favorite film scores.

Dang. Let's hope he got through a lot of musical choices for the Avatar sequels... That way his work continues for the next few years...

Sad news indeed. Such a talented person. One of my all time favorite scores was his work on A Beautiful Mind.
RIP
I see a couple of articles that still mention the pilot was the only confirmed death, any chance people are jumping the gun and he is still alive?

Sad. I listened to the score for Glory all morning. Depressing that someone capable of such beauty is no longer with us at an early age. I mean 61 isn't young but he had plenty of time left and it would have been well spent.

61 isn't young but he had plenty of time left and it would have been well spent. John Williams is still alive and he's like a hundred. 61 is nothing. Hans Zimmer is probably that old. He started at the same time as Horner.

Williams' work has never made me tear up. Bull. Shit. Only a cold hearted bastard didn't cry at the end of E.T.
