Is that guy still making movies? I thought everyone got sick of his laughing at his bullshit a long time ago.

The only reason he was ever able to find funding before was because of the tax shelter scam he had going in Germany. Now that Germany has changed the tax laws, he can't find investors. None of his investors ever thought Uwe was a good director. They just saw a chance to make some easy money. Now that there's no easy money to be made, he can't get a job. If it weren't for these absurd public rants he goes on, nobody would even know his name. As it is, his is a name associated with gross incompetence and childish behavior.

Aw come on everyone loves House Of The Dead
Didn't he also get some of his funding from Kickstarter, and other sources like that?

Didn't he also get some of his funding from Kickstarter, and other sources like that? He tried to get funding from Kickstarter. While there are a lot of people out there who enjoy watching bad movies, they don't want to fund them themselves most of the time. Plus, the notion of giving money to a hack like Boll just doesn't sit well with most people.

He did have one good movie. Something about Wall Street. I haven't seen anything else, though.
It's easy to make fun of him for this video as it is petulant, but this guy loved making movies just to make movies, even if they were awful. Must suck to realize no one wants to help you make your dreams come true. On some level, I feel for him.

Uwe Boll couldn't accidentally make a good movie, nothing he's done is worth even 20 minutes of anyone's time.

Must suck to realize no one wants to help you make your dreams come true. On some level, I feel for him. If he really did have a love for making movies, he'd still be making them. If he's got enough money to spend the rest of his life playing golf, he's got enough money to finance his own movies. He won't do that though, because it would involve throwing away his own money instead of other people's. There are loads of film makers out there who work on a shoestring and a prayer because they can't stand to do anything else, even if it means using their own money.

You're probably thinking of Sanctimony, his cheap knockoff of American Psycho.Even the worst directors made at least one decent movie. Ed Wood had Bride of the Monster (PULL THE STRING!) which was okay for a "B" 50's movie.
