I see you're not even really reading anything I'm writing or just simply ignoring the points I'm making. Where are your major Christian leaders that are for same-sex marriage? Where are your preachers speaking out against the bigots? You're right, I don't have proof that they're out there because they don't let their opinions be heard. You're portraying it like there's this major nucleus of people that don't agree with the social conservatism, and yet they all seem to be hiding from the rest of the group. The media is only interested in showing the evil Christians that give all of you a bad name? Get off your high horse, there's a reason why all politicians adopt the conservative social policies that they do; because no one would vote for them if they didn't. Common sense? Really? I'm pretty sure that when people hear the term conservative Christian the last thing that comes to mind is open mindedness and acceptance. If there was a major Christian figure that stood for equality and against discrimination, he would be in the news for sure for rallying against the majority. Once again, I haven't seen it. Huckabee would still be in the news if he didn't support them, but you are right that it wouldn't be as attention grabbing. So once again, is it not hypocritical for Huckabee and others to forgive Duggar for this but not support homosexuals for being who they are?

Once again, you continue to dodge the real questions and issues here and attempt to pathetically pass it off that I'm misguided and Christians are unfairly portrayed. You can't even give me one major Christian figure or leader that is openly against the discrimination that the religion consistently displays. The majority of the group is silenced and oppressed and doesn't have a platform? Give me a break. The majority of the group are the ones in power, talking on the television, giving hateful sermons in church. Huckabee is not the only supporter of the family, Ted Cruz came out in support but after backlash retracted his statement, so basically he only did so because 2016 is more important than defending a pedophile. Obviously it's not a smart political move to side with the Duggars here, especially with 2016 looming. Huckabee probably just ruined his already dismal chances at the Republican ticket with this little stunt.

You keep saying there's all this opposition to the Duggars and bigotry from the Christian side, and yet for all your accusing that I don't have evidence to back anything, you have nothing at all. You don't even have a small sect of Christians to point to, I'm just supposed to take your word for it because you and your church aren't doing it. Which again, great, I'm not saying all Christians are like that, notice how each time I said CONSERVATIVE because there's a big difference. I know plenty of casual Christians who believe in God but don't necessarily go to church and absolutely are against the social stances the church takes on. Those are not conservatives, just because you're "religious" does not mean you have conservative social stances. Huckabee is a conservative, the Duggars are conservatives. So again, if it's the minority of Christians who are hate mongering bigots, why are they the ones with churches, television shows, and Republican party tickets punched? Why would the majority be voting for what they supposedly are completely against?

You are so delusional it's amazing, no wonder people can't stand talking politics with you on here. I never said they were evil, I said they were hypocritical, which you have continued to not address at all. I did not say you ALL supported the Duggars, you again seem to be confused. Sure, I could've been a bit clearer, but the point still remains that there are plenty of people supporting the Duggars, from average Joes to Huckabee and Cruz. Feel free to Google any of this and read articles and the comments pertaining to them, and you'll see opinions from both sides spouting off. It's great that you and your community are model Christians, I once again never said all Christians are awful or evil, but are a lot of them hypocritical on their social stances? Absolutely. Once again, where are your community leaders? Where is this majority of Christians that are being so wrongfully represented by the minority? A majority would be at least 51%, so once you can provide insight into this mythical group I'll gladly eat my words and say you were right. But you can't, which is why instead of actually addressing anything I'm throwing at you you're more interested in challenging my qualifications on making statements on the issue.

You haven't pointed out anything to disprove anything I've said except that I should probably be more specific when targeting a group, which you're right about. You haven't addressed where this mythical majority of socially progressive conservative Christians reside, if Huckabee is a hypocrite, or listed even ONE example of a major Christian figure that would embody this "majority" you so adamantly claim exists. You are a very delusional person, I've responded to each of your claims and you've hardly responded to any of mine, including the initial post I made, but you're just knocking down all these "fallacies" of mine left and right. Oh, but you aren't, not at all in fact. Arguing with you, which I never even wanted to do in the first place, is a waste of my time. Twitter users call the interview “creepy” and criticize the “19 Kids and Counting” parents for the way they handled the molestation scandal

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sat down with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Wednesday for an interview that drew sharp reaction on social media.


In the sit-down that aired on “The Kelly File,” the “19 Kids and Counting” parents detailed what happened when their eldest son Josh confessed to having touched some of his younger sisters and a babysitter inappropriately.

Social media quickly exploded with angry reactions to the Duggars’ explanation of how they handled the molestation scandal and what many perceived as Kelly’s “softball” questions.

“Jim Bob is awfully cavalier about these ‘incidents’ for a guy who ran for Senate on an incest should get death penalty platform?” commented former daytime talk show host Montel Williams, who went on to express his disgust in a string of tweets, including calling the couple “creepy, creepy, creepy.”

“Weirdest Duggar ‘safeguard’ revealed in tonight’s intv: ‘no male babysitters.’ HELLO. The threat was coming from your own family,” wrote Lisa Bloom, NBC News legal analyst and author of “Suspicion Nation.”

“They are trying to justify themselves justifying incest and sexual abuse,” wrote socialite and PR executive Lee Radziwill.

The hour-long interview became the number 1 trending topic on Twitter, and it concluded with a teaser where Duggar daughters Jessa and Jill admitted they were among Josh’s victims. Kelly promised viewers that portion of her sit-down would air on Friday.
