Picked up the 3 Part Comic of The Search with involved Zuko and Azula searching for their mother. Apparently the Creators pitched the idea to Nickelodeon for a movie but they rejected the idea. Shame really.
So Balance is the final Korra Season huh?! Won't get to see the followups from the Premiere until after my upcoming trip.

I may be talking to myself at this point but I like this season a lot so far.
It's been great seeing Toph again and nothing's change heh. I like that Korra had to "fix" herself instead of Toph just doing it for her. Varrick continues to get interesting (Zhu Li too). Kuvira is smaaaaaaart. I like it. Not sure about Baatarr...very excite it see this fight over Zao-fu.

I'm all caught up, finally. It was great seeing Toph, indeed. It took me a few episodes to realize that Kuvira would be the main villain though. I just thought she'd be that defiant general that would lead the Earth Kingdom into an age of a more democratic government instead of a royal monarch. But you're right, she's a real think-tank.
It's kind of sad though to see her as the villain. The Earth Kingdom fell because royal monarchs aren't able to govern like they use to. The world has entered an age of technological evolution, where advanced discoveries are no longer some unknown occurrence. In just 100 years, they've grown so much. Having royal families in power now is more like seeing the Queen of England or something. She's pretty much only there for show now.

Episode 7: Fantastic. Some of the best action this season, Korrasami shippers probably lost their minds, and Bolin plus Varrick? Why wasn't this match up happening sooner!! Great set up to the finale. They posted that before the episode aired. They just gave people a heads up that it's a kind of "clip episode", and an explanation as to why they chose to do it. So that's why some people are upset. Clip episodes are the devil.
