Ranked (up to the Season 2 finale):
1. The Reichenbach Fall (203)
2. A Scandal in Belgravia (201)
3. The Great Game (103)
4. A Study in Pink (101)
5. The Hounds of Baskerville (202)
6. The Blind Banker (102)
I'm going to both start and finish Season 3 tonight, and then we're going to have a conversation about it goddamn it.

Good deal! I know Jibbs wanted to talk about this episode as well. I enjoyed it. I'm willing to accept Sherlock's plot to fake his death, as far-fetched as it may be. I'm also glad the show took the time to resolve the issue between Sherlock and John and didn't just brush over it in 20 minutes like other shows might have. Good episode, excited to watch the rest of the season.
How do you rank the episodes my dear? I've had a lot to drink. I'm sorry. But maybe this isn't the whiskey talking. I don't know.
1. The Reichenbach Fall (203)
2. A Scandal in Belgravia (201)
3. The Empty Hearse (301)
4. The Great Game (103)
5. A Study in Pink (101)
6. The Hounds of Baskerville (202)
7. The Blind Banker (102)

I thought it was interesting that you can take parts of every "wrong" theory to how he did it to make a somewhat believable method.

I'm going to have to reread this tomorrow morning.
Am I ruining these forums? I feel like this is not a good start.

I love drunken blogging. Keep it up lol.
I rank the first two seasons same as you did. But adding in the third season I'd rank them like this:
1. The Reichenbach Falls 2. Scandal in Belgravia 3. the Great Game 4. The Sign of Three 5. A Study in Pink 6. The Empty Hearse 7. His Last Vow 8. Hounds of Baskerville 9. The Blind Banker
I enjoyed the third series but it wasn't my absolute favourite.

I was disappointed by the third season, but the finale is great.

Definitely. For the last quick 'after credits' bit if anything. God I want to hope, but I know its futile.

I've been trying to ration myself on Season 3. I HAD to watch Empty Hearse of course... but am trying my best to "wait a reasonable period" before watching the last two. I figure it's probably best to watch them before Elementary comes back though.

That's also why Season 3 is disappointing. We get soooo few episodes per year (if any) that it's rough when they're not fabulous.

I felt the 2nd episodes of the third season was the best episode of the entire season!!

1. The Reichenbach Fall (203) 2. A Scandal in Belgravia (201) 3. The Sign of Three4. The Empty Hearse 5. The Great Game (103) 6. A Study in Pink (101) 7. The Hounds of Baskerville (202) 8. The Blind Banker (102) I've enjoyed Season 3 so far, with this most recent episode being something completely new we haven't seen before. A comedy. Very funny, Sherlock falling asleep on the carpet was hilarious. Good episode.

Had been telling my friends about this forever, finally one of them was convinced to watch it by a female of course, and can't stop talking about it. Quite annoying really.

I'm hoping to finish the season tomorrow, and then I can start playing the waiting game like the rest of you.

1. The Reichenbach Fall (203) 2. A Scandal in Belgravia (201) 3. His Last Vow (303) 4. The Sign of Three (302) 5. The Empty Hearse (301) 6. The Great Game (103) 7. A Study in Pink (101) 8. The Hounds of Baskerville (202) 9. The Blind Banker (102)
Good episode. I wasn't particularly surprised by Mary's turn, but it was well executed and I'm glad she and John will stick together. I wasn't surprised because they painted her as being very close to Sherlock the last two episodes, and yet Sherlock kind of dislikes everybody. I just figured something was up. Magnussen was an asshole, glad he caught a bullet in his face. I'm... curious to see if Moriarty is really coming back. I did not expect that.
Now I guess I wait until 2016 or whenever the next season is going to air. Good lord.

Which episode had Sherlock being shot? That was one of my favorite sequences of the season. It took like 5 minutes for him to hit the ground.

That was the finale. I actually somehow forgot to write about that despite having the thought "I have to mention this!" as I was watching it. That was a series highlight for me.

Yeah that was a pretty incredible sequence. The bts footage of how it was shot is pretty nifty too.

Wasn't there talk of a Sherlock xMas special? Don't know what ever happened to that.
