Interesting, but they've got competition. FX is currently developing a Star Trek parody as well. It's based on the novel Redshirts, by John Scalzi.

It's weird if it's a TV show. It wouldn't work. The story of the book is centered around a TV show. Why wouldn't a TV show work?

I really enjoyed GQ. Tim Allen should come back though. His current show has been slipping in ratings so this is the perfect time. I enjoy Last Man Standing and would hate to see it cancelled but I think I would like GQ as a show more.
Rickman and Weaver will have nothing to do with it but as far as the rest if the cast, I could see them coming back too.
