TV Batman weirdness

One thing I've noticed is that they ingest and inhale a lot of drugs and gasses on the show (it was the '60's lol)

James Brolin got a new job as a policeman! He also caught Batman on three infractions of the law - including an incomplete registration for the Batmobile. They let him off with a. warning.

Oh, the Batcomputer makes red spaghetti! They were feeding clues into it about who could be the Sandman's target and it happened to be J. Pauline Spaghetti the Noodle Queen. Weird discovery, she has had 4 husbands who died in various Noodle making accidents...can you say black widow?

The Puzzler made an appearance - he happened to be a Superman foe from 1942,but I think this was a different version of him. I think the original was a gamer who swindled people out of their money, however the only game he played in the episode was Monopoly with a rich man who had several monopolies in different industries.
Another weird thing is that his henchmen inexplicably had aviation names...I guess that's because they were going to steal the rich man's new jet and hold it for $4million ransom.

The story was originally written for the Riddler but Frank Goshen didn't want to play the part again , one reason being that he hated wearing tights and he wanted more money . So they paid him more and made the signature green suit for him.
They did a rewrite for Maurice Evans (Samantha's father on Bewitched ) with tons of Shakespeare quotes...turned out to be a weak script .
Oh, and for the inescapable villainous trap, he tied Batman and Robin up and put them in a hot air balloon to send them up in the stratosphere where they'd run out of air and eventually come crashing down to earth when the balloon collapsed.
Their solution was to pick up a piece of chewing gum one of the thugs spit out, and stuff it into the air hole of the altimeter to stop the balloon from climbing (um, duh an altimeter doesn't control ascent or decent it only measures height), then Robin made some bird calls to aggravate some mean birds to peck small holes in the balloon to slowly bring them down. Lame, huh?

I actually just watched Batman Returns a few days ago, funny how you just dropped this now. I've also had a turbulent love affair with he movie but I've always enjoyed it on the whole, there's just so much good combined with so much weird stuff. And the penguin pallbearers, 27 years on and I still don't know what to make of them.

I had a bit of a moment seeing you post Bruce's rad CD player. "Hey, my video makes a joke about that thing too!"



The Burton weirdness is what makes it!

To be fair, I have a hard time pinning down exactly what 1godzillafan DOES like.

I think he likes Godzilla, but I know he likes Jet Jaguar.
