If the live-action adaptation of Attack on Titan is of comparable quality to the live-action version of Space Battleship Yamato, it's going to leave a lot to be desired. On the plus side, the live-action Yamato adaptation was successful enough to inspire a reboot of the classic animated series, resulting in the awesome Space Battleship Yamato 2199. I don't see how a similar effect can take place in this instance though, since Attack on Titan is relatively new and thus hasn't had the chance to wan in popularity.

Either way this still going to make a disgusting amount of money in Japan.
